Dagoba Los Rios 68% Single Origin Organic Chocolate   Arriba, or “up river” cacao originated in eastern Ecuador along the Guayas river and its tributaries – known as “upward rivers.” The Los Rios province is a center of Arriba cultivation. The parent strain of Arriba is Nacional, which is known for its floral aroma and is exclusive to Ecuador. Nacional is sadly on the verge of extinction but DAGOBA is working directly with a small group of dedicated master farmers to revive this ancient treasure. Grown amongst intact rainforest, Arriba dances with tropical fruits and flowers, taking in their auras. Los Rios features upfront cacao, a bouquet of fruit and a lingering floral aura that speak of its evolution and surroundings.
